Business Development Manager - Berkshire - £28-35k Basic + Uncapped OTE
Our client specialises in team building and corporate events. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who will in turn manage one other member of staff. They are only looking for the very best sales people. If you have a proven track record in selling training/learning & development solutions and are used to dealing with senior HR & learning & development professionals then this is the job for you.
Job Description - Business Development Manager
*The role will involve generating business focused around the Corporate Outdoor Learning Centre with SME
* You will be selling bespoke learning and development programmes and corporate/team events.
* To be involved in all aspects of business development, from marketing and promotion to target audience
* It will involve consultative new business development and account management with SME and large global organisations, both public and private.
* Manage, develop and support the a Business Development Executive person
* Prospecting, attending face to face meetings, proposal development, and account management.
* Demonstrating credibility and building trust and rapport
Experience - Business Development Manager
*Must be capable of working in a consultative, professional manner, appropriate to the seniority of the client lead
* Previous successful experience in selling training/learning & development solutions in a B2B environment
* Experience of selling to senior HR and Learning & Development professionals is essential
* Previous experience of identifying, developing and running marketing campaigns to drive business
* Able to work in a consultative, structured way.
* Experience of managing small sales/marketing/business development teams would be an advantage.
* Outgoing and confident personality.
* Able to use strong questioning techniques and active listening skills.
* Able to interpret customer signals and appropriately respond to customer objections.
Package - Business Development Manager
*Basic salary £28-35k Depending upon experience
* £50k OTE and uncapped
* 20 days holiday
