Do you enjoy writing or copywriting? Think you can use words to capture client interest? Can you use punctuation to give clarity and rhythm to your writing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity working for a successful international company on an ongoing temporary basis. The company operates in the classified advertising market through printed, phone and online based media.
In the role, you’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth telephone conversations with customers who have already purchased a website. Once you understand their business, you’ll be required to write engaging and search engine optimised web copy, marketing their business to the right clients.
Working to a tight deadline, you will:
Prepare for the call by researching the company and its competitors.
Conduct the telephone consultation.
Write searchable and customer focused website copy.
To be successful in this role you will have:
An interest in reading and writing.
Impeccable spelling and grammar.
Very good computer and typing skills.
An ability to write under pressure.
A confident telephone manner with the ability to establish rapport, quickly.
The ability to hold a fact finding conversation – asking leading, closing and clarifying questions.
English Language/Literature A ‘Level, English degree or Theatre Studies qualification would be advantageous for this role
Experience (or an interest) in copywriting, marketing or SEO (search engine optimisation) would be beneficial.
