Job Description
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) required to work with one of the largest care providers in the UK.
Working within a their 50 plus nursing and residential home in Oxfordshire you will provide hands on clinical nursing care to their residents, ensuring care plans are updated regularly, junior staff are appropriately supervised and making sure that care standards are maintained throughout the home. In addition you will deal with the administration of medication ensuring that it is handled correctly and audited within NMC and CQC guidelines. At all times, the Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) will be responsible for maintaining clinical standards within the home.
They are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) who has had previous knowledge of working within a similar environment or has a keen interest in providing nursing care to older people. The home specialises in Dementia care so previous experience or qualification in this would be desirable. They pride themselves on continually providing training for their staff so the role will suit someone who is looking to continue with their professional development.
This is a full time role and applicants will be required to work on a shift basis including weekend and night duties. Applicants must have a current NMC PIN number and previous knowledge of working within older persons care services. The company provide ongoing training to all staff as well as 28 days annual leave. In return they are looking to offer a salary of £23,000 - £24,500 per annum
