Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen based in Oxfordshire. My client, a leading healthcare company are currently looking for a Contract Clinical Research Associate. The role will run for approximately 6 months. The key responsibilities are as follows;: Build strong, long-term relationships with the investigators and study coordinators based on respect, knowledge, and commitment to appropriate clinical research practices Assure completion of project tasks within defined timelines Conduct monitoring and other study activities in accordance with company SOPs, GCP/ICH guidelines, FDA regulations and project requirements. Identification & implementation of site training or corrective action as necessary. Assist sites in development and implementation of patient recruitment strategies for TMC studies Identify training needs and provide training for clinical site team Timely report submission and timely feedback to sites is critical Qualifications: 3-5 years of prior experience in monitoring acute care inpatient hospital studies, preferably in cardiovascular TA Strong cardiovascular experience; nuero experience a plus Experience using an EDC In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidelines Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively with investigators and other research personnel, maintaining a professional demeanor Ability to function in a regional team unit Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible Strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence in the successful achievement of defined project objectives Ability to prioritise workload to meet project timelines; strong track record of timely report submissions Excellent planning and organizational skills Scientific background with a minimum of a BS degree Ability to travel up to 80%, mostly day trips. Must be familiar with hospital charts This role is based in Oxfordshire and will run for 6 months with a view for extension.
