Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit a Family Support Worker for the next three months, part time, 1 day per week - Tuesday. This role will be based at a Sure Start Centre in Milton Keynes, paying around £9/hour.Duties to include;1. To support the Centre Coordinator to provide a range of support services to children under five and their families in the centre and its linked sites.2. To support families to access childcare, nursery education, health and family support services available at the Centre and in the local community.3. To work with other agencies to identify children and families who do not access services and provide support for them to do so. 4. To raise awareness of the centre, it\'s linked sites and local services and facilities and enable parents and children to access them. 5. To organise a diverse range of activities for children and parents. 6. To organise and maintain a programme of support for children and families at the centre.
