Fabulous opportunity for career-focused, commercially aware Nurses to join one of the leading pharmaceutical organisations in the UK.Our client is currently seeking a Diabetes Nurse Advisor to join its dynamic, expanding team of Nurse Advisors, with a remit to offer practical, knowledge-based assistance to people with diabetes whilst at the same time training other healthcare professionals in the provision of diabetic support.The role will encompass facilitating and delivering nurse led clinics within primary and/or secondary care settings within a pre-defined territory (South Central, encompassing Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire), providing patient assessment, consultation and lifestyle education.Applicants should possess an in-depth clinical knowledge of diabetes, which should be supported by recent experience/qualifications and the ability to initiate insulin competently and with confidence.
