Archaeologist - Oxford - £22,000 - £25,000

A leading environmental and agricultural consultancy with a number of offices and a strong presence in the UK is currently seeking an Archaeologist to be based in Oxford.

The successful candidate will have a relevant environmental subject e.g. archaeology, landscape archaeology or similar with consultative experience of historic environment consultancy. You will be capable of preparing archaeological impact assessments / desk based assessments and will ideally be a member of the Institute of Archaeologists. Experience using digital HER records and a full driving license is essential.

Working in an EIA and planning team, the successful Archaeologist will be responsible for carrying out desk studies, research and report writing as well as archaeological and historic environment assessments for inclusion in Environmental Impact Assessments. You will coordinate project management, attend meetings with clients and develop new business.
